At this years awards Cocobean took out the Better Workplaces award.  This award recognises modern workplace practices and provides a stimulating and supportive environment.

Launceston Cityprom Service Excellence Awards 2011

We've done it again - all our our staff have again been nominated in this years award.

Cocobean is finalist in the business marketing, business excellence, people's choice award and business management award. 

Our greatest delight was when Casey McLean was announced runner-up in the hospitality service award and Jess Frech was announced the winner. 

Congratulations to you all.......... we are all winners.  Launceston is more attractive, more viable, more dynamic and more inviting through the excellent service that keeps our customers coming back. 

New Kitchen - July 2011

After months of planning and dreaming we have finally moved into our dream kitchen.  Yes - we couldn't keep up with the demand for our amazing product in our tiny kitchen upstairs in George Street. 

The new facility is off-site, bigger, better equiped and allows us to start dreaming even bigger. 

After almost four years in our pokey kitchen upstairs we all agreed it was time to expand. 

What does that mean for you?

It means we have the facility to create new products and employ more people.

It also means we can now look to opening chocolate boutiques in Hobart, Burnie and possibly another in Launceston. 

LCC Business Excellence Awards 2010

Seventeen Northern Tasmanian businesses and community organisations have been honoured in the 2010 Launceston Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards.

Cocobean Chocolate wins Small Hospitality Business, as well as being finalists in the Successful Start Up category. 

2010 Royal Hobart Fine Food Awards

Our White Chocolate Macadamia Nuts receive the Champion Award in the Nuts and other Nut Products Section.  At the 2010 Royal Hobart Fine Food Awards.

All in all Cocobean receives 3 Gold, 3 Silver and 2 Bronze medals.

Launceston Cityprom Service Excellence Awards 2010

Cocobean is excited to announce that for the second year in a row at the Launceston Cityprom awards we have won the Outstanding Hospitality Business Award. 

Chantelle receives the runner up in Excellence in Hospitality Service Award.

Cocobean Chocolate wins the Launceston Cityprom Hospitality Business Excellence award. Testimony to this philosophy is that all our dedicated staff have once again been nominated for this year's City Prom service excellence awards.

Whitelion's Employer of the year award 2009

Cocobean Chocolate was awarded Whitelion’s Employer of the year award at their Gala dinner held at the Country Club Casino in April 2009.

We are humbled to have received this award, but very excited to be part of this wonderful organization.

“Whitelion opens doors to opportunities, relationships and community for young people involved in the Youth Justice System or at risk of involvement. This is achieved through role modelling, mentoring, employment and indigenous programs, outreach services, and through prevention programs run in rural and metropolitan communities.”
